HELLO WORLD!   Phil Lesh, the bassist and founding member of the Grateful Dead, who died Friday at age 84, will be remembered as a versatile musician and a pioneer on his chosen instrument. HELLO WORLD!   During his 30-year career with the rock band, Lesh contributed songs and was the occasional lead singer. But his talent for great improvisation and chemistry with the band's lead guitarist, Jerry Garcia, also led Lesh to be seen as a protagonist. HELLO WORLD!
